Schuver Earns Accreditation in Business Valuation
Brisbane Consulting Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Benjamin Schuver, CPA, MBA has earned his accreditation in business valuation (ABV). The ABV credential is granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to CPAs and qualified valuation professionals who demonstrate considerable expertise in valuation through their knowledge, skill, experience, and adherence to professional standards.
Ben is a Senior Analyst and has experience with the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for purposes of financial reporting, transaction advisory, and tax planning and compliance, as well as the performance of various forensic accounting procedures. He also has prior experience performing assurance services for publicly traded companies and experience testing and evaluating internal controls over financial reporting. Ben is a graduate of Canisius College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Paul is Director of Administration with Brisbane Consulting Group and Director of Business Development for Lumsden & McCormick, LLP. Serving Brisbane Consulting Group, Paul coordinates educational seminars in Erie, New York, Nassau, Suffolk, Kings, Queens, Westchester, and Rockland counties. He is also responsible for organizing and creating continuing legal education programs with various bar associations. He works closely with numerous matrimonial law committees to provide educational programming in business valuation and forensic accounting. He also is responsible for client relations and case management. As Director of Business Development for Lumsden McCormick, Paul is responsible for fostering professional relationships with key referral sources in the community as well as prospecting new clients. Paul is a founding chair of the Western New York Business Leadership Forum and is committee chair for the Firm’s Business Development Committee.
